Jan Theuninck is an abstract artist of Belgian origin. His work can primarily be characterized as an expression of the subconscious in minimalist form. His style is distinguished by the use of pure colours in delicate lines or abstract amoebic shapes. Some of his more known works include : "white niggers" : a denunciation of colonial and modern abuses ; "fagospatose" : about the European political situation where the red ones are eaten up by the black ones ; "homo multiculturalis" : a philosophical work to express the surplus value brought by the eclecticism of many different cultures, "beyond the limit", in memory of 9/11, etc. A self proclaimed artist for peace, justice and civil liberties, he is also a published poet, sometimes under the pen name of ORC(1954) - some of his poems having achieved a degree of fame,e.g. "Stalag Zehn B" ,"Papirac"
