Lisa LaTourette-Pershan is a twenty-eight year old poet and fiction writer. She wrote and illustrated her first 'novel' at age nine and has been writing ever since.

She's worked many jobs over the years and has been a waitress, cleaning woman, telemarketer, shot girl in a nightclub, and surgical assistant to a dentist. She now teaches various classes for children at her local community centre, and loves it so much she has vowed never to work with adults again.

Lisa has future work appearing in The Ragged EDGE, remark., Zygote in my Coffee, Beginnings Magazine, WORDs DANCE and others. She lives on the New Jersey shore with her husband, an accomplished jazz musician, and their many cats.
