Blue Giraffe

is a new, Tasmanian based poetry magazine, edited by Peter Macrow and published by his Blue Giraffe Press. The first issue was launched on 23rd June by Ralph Spaulding at the Hobart Book Shop.

Blue Giraffe publishes poetry. No reviews, no advertisements – only poetry that incudes both Tasmanian and interstate writers. Featuring mainly unpublished work; the Editor will however request permission to publish specific previously published poems. Issue no. 1 includes the work of Graeme Hetherington, Richard Hillman, Karen Knight, Lyn Reeves, Marcus Harvey, David Mortimer, Christina Kirkpatrick, Stephen Edgar and others.

 

Blue Giraffe 1 is available for $4 from the Hobart Book Shop, Salamanca Square, Hobart or for $5 by mail from Peter Macrow, 3/16 Osborne Street, Sandy Bay, Tasmania 7005.
