Colours of Ocean

Conversions of long blue territories sing jade fingers,

Expanding moment in the exchange of worlds,

In the trade winds of ship consciousness,

Submerged living light entire surrounds

A silver-fish-wreathed wreck, an oracular, metal-spread

Glory of colour and slept motion,

Growing into currented wilderness.

Coral and clear, finned embers, motive diadems,

Crowns ringed without sun, diffuse shoals of age,

Motion of living waves through waves, ripe fruit

of wilds, unstemmed,

Attending vested clocks, shriven and shriving, vesperal,

Each is a drifting second of an enclosed and candled,

Slight explosion of clear-watered time,

Telling metamorphosis over a long-winged, basilican

Sculpture, nave of ocean entered with a single breath,

Unmasted, trine, celestial ship, sailing a separate silence.
