Silent Orpheus

The smile upon her lips betrays her inner self

Nuzzling into the pillows she breathes in the scent of her lover

Her mind wanders into the vale of pleasure

She takes comfort in his arms around her

His heat enveloping her like a warm blanket

His skin addresses her need for touch,

She reaches out and brings him to her, closer,

The urgency of her need for him rises and pulls at her very soul

Gently she guides him, the moment to take and give,

Neither to be denied

The passion, sweet, urgent and abandoned

Two minds,

Two bodies,

Two souls, lost in flight.

The early morning sun enters silently into her eyes

Drowsy and lost in time, she wakens.
