Parsival

I am lost in a sea with no horizon

The wind blows and pulls me in unknown directions

The gulls swoop and laugh

They know that I am lost

And I do not have their wings to fly

To where the sun sinks gently into the calm waters

I look to the heaven and wonder

I am but a tiny particle in this vast universe

I raise my arms to the sky and release my soul

Praying silently that it will be nurtured

I turn my back to the land

For I will seek my peace in the deep waters of the sea

I will slumber in the cradle of life

Gently rocked to sleep with the ebb and flow

I dream of Parsival
