M. Blair Spiva is a writer in Athens , Georgia . She works in arts administration at the University of Georgia . Her work has appeared in Flagpole Magazine in Athens , The Corn Creek Review based at Young Harris College , The Lampshade, Misanthropists Anonymous, The Argotist Online, Bawdy Bard, Antithesis Common, and in the New York Writers Coalition's webzine, Plum Biscuit. Her poetry is forthcoming in Colour Wheel, DISPATCH Literary Journal, The Landing, and Lalitamba Magazine.
Blair is also a contributor to the New Georgia Encyclopaedia, an online project and database for topics related to Georgia sponsored by the Governor's Office and Georgia Humanities Council and maintained by the UGA Library and UGA Press. She was also recently given the title of Poetry Editor at DISPATCH. She lives with her husband, Dr. Michael Heald, a native of England and violin professor at UGA. They have two dogs--Annabel Lee and Percy. |
