With his first poetry collection, Remote Corners, (1986) Graeme Hetherington made a significant contribution to literature. Three more, equally as impressive, followed in the next decade or so. They have secured for him recognition as a major Australian poet, "relentless in his vision and uncompromising in his artistic striving." (Peter Macrow) Apart from The Surface and The Write Stuff, this is the first time that a major collection of his poetry has appeared in electronic form. Graeme will also feature as guest editor for Peter Macrow's Tasmanian Poetry Magazine "Blue Giraffe 3" published in June 2006.

He divides his time between his native Tasmania and the Czech Republic, where he lives with his wife, Ivana, a leading heart specialist.
